Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and purchases from the online store operated at this domain (the “Shop”, “Aeris”, “we”, “us”), established in Romania. By placing an order or using the Shop you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

The Shop is operated from Romania. Contact: support@aeris-cool.com. Full legal-entity, registered-address and VAT details are provided on request and on every order invoice.

2. Products

We sell consumer-electronics accessories, including the “Aeris Zap” foldable electric mosquito swatter. Product images, colours and descriptions are provided in good faith and for illustration; minor variations from the delivered product may occur. The device is a handheld electric insect swatter with an integrated UV attractor lamp; it is not a medical device and does not guarantee complete elimination of any insect population.

3. Orders and contract formation

Presentation of products in the Shop is an invitation to treat, not a binding offer. A binding sales contract is formed when we send you an order-confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order (with a full refund) if the item is unavailable, the price is clearly wrong, or payment cannot be verified.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs and any applicable duties are shown before you confirm the order. Payment is processed by Shopify Payments and/or third-party providers; we do not store your full card details.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU and Romanian OUG 34/2014. 6. Warranty and conformity

Products benefit from the statutory legal conformity guarantee for consumer goods under EU and Romanian law. If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, contact us at support@aeris-cool.com and we will repair, replace, or refund it in line with the law. Normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by the user are not covered.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Shop, attempt to bypass security, scrape at abusive rates, or use the site to break any law. We may suspend accounts or orders that we reasonably believe are fraudulent.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Shop — text, logos, images, code — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce it commercially without written permission.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited under Romanian or EU law. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier delays, customs, natural events, strikes, war, or acts of government.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force at the time you place it.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live still apply. Disputes may be brought before the competent Romanian courts. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
